Rediscover your senses at a unique dining event in aid of ISPCC

Limerick Institute of Technology currently run an excellent programme in Business with Event Management. As part of their course, the second year students, with the support of local businesses, are organising a charity event “Dine in the Dark” in aid of ISPCC. This spectacular event will be held on Thursday the 7th of March, at 7.00pm at Casa Nostra Limerick. The event offers an unique dining experience. While dinning, the guests will wear blindfolds, which will enhance their senses focusing on food textures and flavours.

The exclusive event concept has been making waves in UK and continental Europe. Dine in the Dark is a new concept of culinary theatre and presents an opportunity for guests to utilize their senses in a way that they never have before. By wearing blindfolds and not relying on their eyesight, it will be interesting how other senses are brought into play and flavours and textures are heightened. The evening includes a drink reception, a three course meal with Irish traditional music performed live and a raffle will be held in aid of ISPCC.

Tickets cost €28 and can be purchased by phoning George at 0873 893749, emailing dineindark@gmail.com or from Casa Nostra Limerick Restaurant on Mount Kenneth Place. Opening times: Monday to Friday - 12:00 - 15:00; 17:30 - 22:00 Saturday & Sunday - 14:00 - 22:00

The organisers would like to thank the sponsors: Casa Nostra, The Danes Bakery, FitRite, I Love Limerick, Savoy Hotel, Tropical Sun and Ultimate Woman Gym for their support.
