    What is the programme about?
Energy management is the process of monitoring, controlling, and conserving energy in a building or organisation.

The principle goal of the Energy Manager is to drive energy savings, thus cost and CO2 reductions, in their organisation. In order to achieve this goal the energy manager requires a strong background knowledge across the broad areas of construction, engineering, commissioning and maintenance of building services, as well as business & financial/economics.

Who is the programme suited to?
Energy Management in the Built Environment has been designed to meet the Energy Institute requirements of the chartered energy manager and will thus create graduates who are professionally qualified energy managers.
