    What is the programme about?
    The convergence of the technology, media and games industries has created the need for a new type of graduate who possesses a unique blend of artistic and technological skills. In this programme, you will learn how to create, design and develop 2D & 3D animation that meets the needs of a range of sectors in the creative industries. In addition to developing your artistic ability, you will acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to produce a range of digital media assets and the ability to publish these in a wide variety of formats. The programme provides advanced modules in both the creative and technical processes involved in producing computer-generated animation.

    Pen and Pixel Exhibition
     
    LIT LSAD Clonmel hosts the ‘Pen and Pixel’ exhibition annually; a digital media festival that brings our Digital Animation and Creative Multimedia students face to face with industry specialists. Check out http://www.penandpixel.ie for more information. Our Clonmel campus also has an active and exciting Animation Society. Field trips are an integral part of the creative programme and involve participation and attendance at art exhibitions, conference and seminars and sharing ideas with like-minded people.
