This wall paper installation is a representation of a domestic aesthetic element photographed by Amanda Dunsmore in a 'room' once used by a loyalist internee housed in the nissan huts, of the original Long Kesh or Compound, The Maze, Belfast.

The original rooms were constructed by the interned men to create private spaces, using domestic accessories such as curtains, wallpaper, lampshades to define a private area in a architecturally unsuitable and inhospitable building.

Created for solo show at the Galway Arts Centre and was located on the ground floor gallery space.
