Invigilators

Examination Invigilators are employed to ensure the fair and proper conduct of examinations in an environment that enables candidates to perform at their best.

LIT currently has a full panel of invigilators but will welcome applications from any interested parties. You will be added to our database and contacted should any vacancies arise. Please be advised that we cannot guarantee selection of all applicants.

Please note that all persons wishing to apply should be available to work full-time from Monday to Friday during the Summer exam period – usually from the second Friday in May for a 2 week period. Exams also take place in late August –early September and December but only a limited number of invigilators are required at these times.

Details of Invigilator duties and procedures can be viewed here.

You can apply by completing the application form which is available here.  The National Vetting Bureau (Children and Vulnerable Persons) Act, 2012-2016  came into law on the 29th April, 2016 – Garda Vetting Form.   As a result of this legislation all staff are required to be Garda Vetted, please complete and return with application form.  Completed forms should be returned directly to the Exams Office in person, by email to exams@lit.ie or by post to: Exams Office, Limerick Institute of Technology, Moylish Park, Limerick.
