LIT MUSIC FESTIVAL
Millennium Theatre
March 3rd & 5th 2015 |
LIT celebrates Music Week this March 3-5, with Iron Mountain headlining on Thursday 5th at 6pm.
LINE-UP of EVENTS
On Tuesday 3rd the festival kicks off with a lunch-time talk from Tom Prendergast in the Millennium Theatre. This will be followed by a series of talks from the organisers of last year’s Pigtown Fling Project (http://pigtownfling.com). Following this we welcome Dr. Kerry Hagan, president of ISSTA - Irish, Sound, Science and Technology Association, to give a talk on this year's upcoming events.
Wednesday 4th brings a series of installations to the foyer of the Milennium Theatre, with the space turning into a large group drumming workshop at 2pm with John Bowker. Simultaneously a composition workshop with Karen Power will be held in the studios of Block 15.
The foyer will host installations from 4th year projects on Thursday 5th, with more workshops happening from 11am with CreateSound- focusing on the use of the Push Controller with Ableton Live. Delighted to host Iron Mountain as the headlining act at 6pm in the Millennium Theatre.
All events are open to everybody. All events are free of charge.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
