Congratulations to LIT Tipperary's Ryan Cup and League winning captain, Martin Fitzgerald who has been named on the '2013 Future Champions Team' by Comhairle Ardoideachais and the Irish Daily Mail. The team comprises the top 15 college hurlers in the Higher Education Championships this year.

Kildare man Martin played a superb captain’s role throughout the season and was instrumental in LIT Tipperary’s hugely successful 2012/2013 season which saw them capture the All-Ireland 3rd Level Colleges Division 2 League title in December and then go on to win the Ryan Cup in March for the second time in their history. Martin’s selection is just reward for his contribution to the team’s successes.

The hurlers and footballers selected on the teams will be honoured at a function in Croke Park on April 15th.
