What our students & graduates say – Study Business at LIT Clonmel

Yvonne Slattery – graduated from Business at LIT Clonmel in 2016 and is currently working in Diageo’s International Supply Centre.

"LIT Clonmel has given me the competitive edge entering the corporate world. During my second year I spent a semester studying abroad in Rennes University in France, this gave me invaluable exposure to different cultures, this is something multinational companies are now actively seeking out but more importantly I had the time of my life studying in one of France's top colleges.
As part of my accelerated management programme I work alongside senior leaders every day and I have the opportunity to travel while working with huge global brands. The recruitment process was very competitive and involved online testing, interviews and ended in an assessment centre, it was during this assessment centre that I could see how well LIT had prepared me as I excelled amongst students from some of Ireland's top universities.

Simon Anchell – graduated from Business at LIT Clonmel in 2016.

“I had a great 4 years in LIT Clonmel – great lecturers, great atmosphere and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience”. “I was nominated for a national Marketing Analytics undergraduate award while studying here”.

Mark Power – LIT Clonmel Business graduate (2014) and currently working in the marketing department at construction firm Bruce Shaw.

"The course helped me gain a deeper understanding of the business environment…although marketing was the career path I chose, the course provides you with a basis to choose whatever business profession you wish to pursue. Other classmates of mine followed many different pathways including management and accountancy. For me, the course was a stepping stone to do a MSc in Marketing at Dublin City University. where I built on the foundations of modules studied in LIT Clonmel.

Brid O’Donnell – currently in Year 4 (final year) in Business at LIT Clonmel.

“It’s a small campus with a friendly atmosphere” “it allows me to live locally and keep on my part-time job – I’m working in retail and learning about business so it’s great to have that combination” “I really enjoyed my 4 years here” “it’s a broad degree so if you’re not sure what area of business you want to work in, it’s a good place to start”

Ailish Tobin - currently in Year 2 in Business at LIT Clonmel.

“I really like it here – the lecturers are great and really helpful”, “the course was recommended to me by friend who previously studied here and is now working in HR…” “it’s a really nice college to come to”
