Going Downhill Again With The LIT Outdoor Club

Going Downhill Again With The LIT Outdoor Club

Another early rise out of bed with a recent trip to the Ballyhoura Mountains to experience some of the finest biking trails in Ireland with Trailriders Ballyhoura. All bikes and helmets were provided by www.trailriders.ie. A fantastic service provided at the trails

The weather seemed to hold at ground level but as usual the mountain had its own micro climate!!!. Mist mist and more of it and with all the recent rain it made some very interesting and fun mud filled biking!!

There was a great mix of Irish and International students from Moylish, LSAD and Tipperary as they hit the trails and had loads of fun on the downhill runs, covering 6km and 17km sections of mountain.

Although there may have been some bumps and bruises everyone got on with it, enjoying some beautiful views on the downhill runs. There was a brilliant social atmosphere too as per usual in the Outdoor Club resulting in another great event organised by the Outdoor Club (OC) Committee - always improving #LITstudentexperience
