Company based at LIT’s QUESTUM Acceleration Centre to feature on TG4 show

CAMINO BY SEA - An Epic 2500 km Modern Day Celtic Odyssey

Anú Pictures are an independent film production company started by Dónal Ó Céilleachair. They are based in the LIT QUESTUM Acceleration Centre, Clonmel. Their film From the Land of Múscraí premiered at last year’s 2016 Cork Film Festival to critical and public acclaim.

Donal and his dedicated team worked over a 3-year period shooting the documentary CAMINO NA SÁILE (Camino by the Sea). It follows the story of a group of Irish men who completed a traditional pilgrim’s Camino journey by sea rather than land.

The excellent documentary series features among others Oscar winner Glen Hansard, traditional Irish musician Brendan Begley, author, poet and seanchaí Danny Sheehy, artist Liam Holden and folklorist Brendan Moriarty, and is now to be shown on TG4 over 3 consecutive Sundays – 19th and 26th February and 5th March.

This 3-part series will be broadcast on TG4 over three Sundays at 8.30 pm in February and March (19/02, 26/02 & 05/03) with repeats on Monday evenings at 7.30pm plus on the TG4 player.
