Surfing the Wild Atlantic Way

LIT Surfing the Wild Atlantic Way
LIT Surfing the Wild Atlantic Way

LIT Outdoor Club took a recent trip Lahinch, Co Clare. As the days grew closer the surf conditions were getting bigger and better. So much so that some of the top big wave surfers in the world made the trip to Ireland on the same weekend to surf the Clare cliffs along the Wild Atlantic Way.

The surf conditions were just amazing on the day for all levels. We had the perfect surf conditions with off shore winds and good size swell. Easterly winds though made it cold but this group where geared up for whatever nature through at them.

Great fun and loads of smiles from all the Irish/International members on the trip. Full action pics are on our Facbook Page:

Special thanks to all the instructors and Pete for helping organise it.

Well-done to OC Committee (particularly Patrick Kinane, Olivia Shanahan & Shauna Morrissey) for organising the event...
