LIT's Event Management students raise €15,500 for charity

Congratulations to second year Event Management students who have raised a whopping €15,500 for charity. Events included Limericks Family Fun Day, Savour Limerick, A Band Crawl, and the Humanities Fashion Show. Charities benefitting from this fantastic fundraising event include – The Cancer Society, CARI, The Rape Crisis Centre, and Pieta House.

Miriam Duffy, Executive Director of the Rape Crisis Centre thanked LIT students for their dedication and hard work in raising such a significant amount of money for such deserving charities in need.

Many thanks to our event management colleagues for their continued support and commitment to our students. Special word of appreciation to Applied Event Management lecturer Marie Mitchell who coordinated and assisted our year 2 students throughout all these wonderful events.
