About
the Club
The club was
initiated by two YOUNG LIT lectures, Dr Alan Kavanagh and
Mr Eoin Fitzgerald in 2001. The club is "run by students
for students" and caters for current and past interested
in NON-COMPETITIVE activities such as those outlined below and
more importantly for people who want to have some FUN.
NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED AND ALL EQUIPMENT IS PROVIDED

All activities
are run once a month on weekends. One day events are usually run
on Sundays. Their is approx 4 weekend events in the year. For
activities requiring expensive equipment (*), the club uses water
and land based centres located around the country.
The
cost of a day event is approx. €5-20
The
cost of weekend events approx. €30-35
