Public Engagement

Public Engagement

LIT prides itself on the extensive networks and connections it has developed with community, enterprise, industry and public sectors in the Mid-West Region, Ireland and Internationally.  As part of its commitment to deepening and widening its engagement remit a specific remit has been developed within the Institute to facilitate and manage the operational engagement of the Institute with public sector and community organisations in Limerick, Clare and Tipperary in a structured and systematic way. This will include managing participation by development and other Institute staff on key local and regional bodies which may of benefit to the Institute, the co-ordination of the role of Institute staff on such bodies and the internal communication of the outcome of such engagement.

Our aim to ensure that LIT activities are response and reflective of the needs of the region and that, in particular, we maintain and maximise our engagement with the community and public sector, to compliment our connections with industry and enterprise.
