Limerick Institute of Technology is among the most vibrant and connected institutions in Ireland. When you look around our 5 campuses, you will see an astonishing diversity of programmes and people exploring new ideas, pursuing new knowledge, creating new art and filling our workshops, studios and labs with the vibrancy that comes from being an institution that is committed to discovery and creativity. We deliver over 120 programmes to students through our 5 campuses in Limerick, Thurles and Clonmel, along with our Education Centre in Ennis. So, come along to our Open Days and learn about these programmes in more detail.

Our annual Limerick Open Days at our Moylish and Clare Street campuses are an ideal opportunity for students to visit our campuses, sample our wonderful facilities at first-hand and gain further information on the wide diversity of programmes available at LIT. Students can meet with representatives from our Academic Faculties and Departments, meet current LIT students and avail of presentations and campus tours.

Each day at Moylish campus, presentations and tours will commence every 30 minutes from 9.30am; the last presentation will commence at 1.00pm. A variety of Specialist Programme Talks will take place each day.

Topics include Creative Technologies, Interior Design, Business, Engineering Apprenticeships that lead to Bachelor of Engineering degrees, Quantity Surveying, Social Care Work, Art and Design, Property Valuation, and Civil Engineering. The talks will therefore have a focus on careers and jobs in these areas.

Our Departments of Applied Science and Information Technology will also be running demonstrations at regular intervals during both days. These will give students an opportunity to see the working lab facilities and the interactive technologies that our students use.

Throughout the day, students from our Music Technology programmes will showcase their musical talents and will be performing live in the Green Rooms Student Canteen and Social Space at Moylish.

Students that have a specific interest in Art and Design programmes should visit our Clare Street campus where specific information on our Art & Design programmes will be available. Talks pertaining to the Art and Design programmes will take place at the Clare Street campus. Specialist Art and Design talks will run throughout the day at LSAD, Clare Street, along with tours of studio spaces and other facilities.
