Socrates Student Exchange Programme
The Sculpture & Combined Media Course at LSAD is part of a European educational exchange network know as Socrates. Each year students from the department travel to colleges all over Europe, to study for one semester. Students from European colleges travel to Limerick to work in the dept. Socrates exchanges are encouraged to be taken in the third year programme of the course.

Return flights and a monthly stipend are provided to successful students through this programme. Accommodation is provided by exchange.

Collages of art that students have traveled to include: Quimpere, France. Vigo, Spain. Athens, Greece. Tilburg, Holland. Ghent, Belguim. Dundee, Scotland. Nottingham, England. and Stockholm, Sweden.
