NeverMind Games Release "TroubleSum"

NeverMind Games, developers of the award-nominated Solar Sprint, have just released TroubleSum onto the global mobile gaming scene on the 31st August.

“Last year we started to look at game ideas that had an educational aspect to them”, said Mark Lambe, co-founder and CEO at NeverMind Games. “TroubleSum was a natural fit. It’s a really fun game, seamlessly combined with an educational twist”.

What is TroubleSum?

TroubleSum is a 2-D puzzle game currently available for iOS and Windows Phone 7. It combines clever and exciting gameplay with wonderful visuals to create an all-out fun experience. TroubleSum is packed with several stunning visual themes and two different game modes to craft an in-depth and highly polished gameplay experience.

As you play TroubleSum, blocks begin to stack up, each block has a number on it, and you have a target you have to reach. By adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing the blocks, you can make them disappear in order to get points and buy yourself valuable time.

You can find the release trailer for TroubleSum on Youtube. Just search for “TroubleSum Release Trailer” or click / share this link: http://youtu.be/jbIWoiwxNLk

You will find the App Store link, and information on promo codes in the “About TroubleSum” section near the end of this document.

What does TroubleSum offer players?

TroubleSum has two game modes, Classic mode, or if the player wants a greater challenge, Arcade mode is packed with power-ups like Bomb Blocks and the dreaded Medusa Tile.

The game has several striking visual themes and great audio tracks that the player can change to suit their mood or preference.

TroubleSum’s heavily tested gameplay offers players a uniquely fun experience that will keep them coming back for more.

Educational Element of TroubleSum

TroubleSum allows players to use their basic arithmetic skills in order to get a highscore. According
to Mark Lambe, CEO of NeverMind Games “The sums you have to do are relatively simple, you might
need to get to 23, so you say ‘ten times two, plus three!’, but all the time you’re reinforcing your
own confidence and ability. Even when we were testing TroubleSum, I can definitely say my
schoolboy maths got better”.
