This programme is designed for those who have entered the Leaving Certificate Stream and who may be interested in pursuing a career in Art & Design at third level. This programme is also positioned for those who have completed the leaving certificate but did not study Art and for mature applicants who may be interested in studying Art & Design at third level. 

Drawing (observational and expressive), 2D/3D material and methods, sketchbook-based study. 

Continuous evaluation will take place during the 10 week programme with final evaluation on completion of programme. 

10 weeks, 1 night per week Tuesday from 7.00pm – 9.00pm Commencing Tuesday 5th October 2010 Commencing Tuesday 1st February 2011 This programme will take place at the School of Art & Design, Clare Street Campus.
