Printmaking
“We found it to be an open and supportive
training ground with a creative and
fun atmosphere, worth striving for at
other workshops.”
The emphasis of this programme is to obtain a sound technical knowledge of the many printmaking processes, with the critical and creative ability to translate and develop a personal visual language, which in turn allows for an organised approach in the production of a body of work.
You will use traditional print processes but also are encouraged to experience contemporary print practices and methodologies, which inevitably include photo-lens based media and digital technologies. There is also a strong emphasis on the development of drawing and other image making techniques, in tandem with the advancement of their knowledge and understanding of historical and cultural developments.
