Bachelor of Science in Construction in Site Management (Level 7)

 

Programme Description

This programme aims to prepare you to undertake the role of a Site Manager. The Site Manager is responsible for co-ordinating various site operations to ensure projects are completed in accordance with the construction programme, to the agreed quality and within the client’s budget. Site Managers must have extensive knowledge of building techniques and possess the management qualities necessary to lead the construction team through a series of complex and challenging projects.

Construction Technology, Building Services, Construction IT, Site Surveying and Setting Out, Industrial Studies and Health & Safety, Mathematics and Structures, Technical Graphics


Year 2
Construction Technology and Structures, Building Services, Construction IT, Management and Health & Safety, Site Surveying and Setting Out, Building and Safety Law, Introduction to Site Management & Estimating.


Year 3
Construction Technology, Building Services, Contract Administration and Safety Law, Construction IT, Site Management, Surveying and Setting Out, Site Management Project (PED).


Duration

3 Years. Also available part-time over a longer period (ACCS)
