Bachelor of Science in Management (Craft) (Level 7)

 

Programme Description

This one-year programme is designed for those who have successfully completed a Level 6 Craft Apprenticeship, providing the chance to increase your qualification to a Degree (Level 7). The BSc in Management (Craft) will provide the skills for a Craftsperson to operate in the modern working environment, and, enable you to progress onto supervisor or management roles within employment or to pursue self employment opportunities. The programme will be offered through a combination of distance learning, on-site learning and work-based learning. This programme can also be completed over a longer period of time on a part-time basis.

 

Modules

    Health, Safety and Environmental Management, Business Management and Administration, Work Based Learning Project, Project and Communication Skills, Elected Specialisations (x2)

 

Apprenticeship Qualifications Include

City and Guilds Senior Trade
National Craft Certificate
Advanced Craft Certificate

 

NOTE

Equivalent qualifications to the above will be assessed on a case by case basis. Applicants will need to provide proof of the above qualifications to the Admissions Office at LIT upon application.

 

Duration

1 Year post apprenticeship programme. Also available part-time over a longer period (ACCS)
