The Department of Mechanical & Automobile Engineering at LIT prepares students to walk from the classroom into the workplace. We offer a number of programmes from Mechanical Engineering to Road Transport Technology, Automobile Technology and Agricultural Mechanisation; many of which are recognised by professional bodies for membership following graduation.

We give you the practical and hands-on skills with a significant amount of your time spent in the workshops and laboratories.

There is a great opportunity to get your qualification the way you want. With 2 and 3 Year programmes that give you an opportunity to progress to an Honours Degree.

Give us a ring if you’d like more information on the programmes offered by the Department of Mechanical & Automobile Engineering.
