Shaddalingus 1998
stem was a creative collaboration between visual artists Amanda Dunsmore, Sean Taylor from Ireland and sound artist Richard Creasey from Scotland.
The individual members of stem came together in 1995, to experiment with the relationships between Performance Art, Expanded Theatre, Club Culture (Post Techno Art), and the application of new technologies.

The central theme's of stem's work was the exploration of issues related to gender politics, interpersonal relationships, sexuality, cultural diversity and personal dislocation. Drawing from personal experiences the collaboration offers a unique, anarchic view of contemporary existence.

Stem expanded its collaboration to include working with artists from a variety of disciplines including contemporary dance (richard o'brien) and theatre (ciarda tobin).
