 Des MacMahon (061) 293 396 Des.MacMahon@lit.ie www.desmacmahon.ie | ABOUT Des Mac Mahon is currently a lecturer in First year LSAD. He has been involved in the Print Dept. since it became a full time course in one way or another, as a student, a technician and as a lecturer. He has been involved in teaching on every level of the course from first year through to post graduate.
Des was actively involved in the setting up of the Limerick Printmakers and remains an active participant in this group.
He is a practicing artist and printmaker and exhibits regularly.

| ABOUT Sarah O’Flaherty works as a professional artist at her sculpture studio; she also has a bronze foundry, Cork Bronze.
She has completed a number of large public commissions and exhibits her work on a regular basis.

| ABOUT Kieran Whitelaw has his own ceramic studio in Killaloe. He is actively involved in the wider ceramic community, giving and attending workshops, making his own work and designing prototypes for industry. He has acted as a judge and mentor for the Craft Council of Ireland, and as MC for the Ceramics Ireland symposium in Thomastown, 2009 / 2011. As part of the Limerick Ceramic Group, Kieran and the group staged an exhibition, Then & Now, June – Sept 2011. Over the last 15 years he has been involved in the Nenagh Summer camp for children with special needs. | |

| ABOUT After graduating from NCAD with a BA in Fine Art, Róisín completed an MFA at the University of Ulster and an MSc.in Multimedia systems at Trinity College Dublin. The focus of her work in general is the artistic analysis of perception and in particular, the correlation between spatial and temporal experience and drawing processes. She exhibits in Ireland and internationally and teaches drawing at LSAD. | |

| ABOUT Michael Canning has maintained a studio practice in the areas of painting sculpture and printmaking since 1992, exhibiting in Ireland and internationally since that time. He is represented in Ireland by Hillsboro Fine Art, Dublin, and internationally by Waterhouse and Dodd, London and New York. | |

| ABOUT Paul Gardiner lectures in ICT and Digital Design. His lectures and workshops include Illustrator and Photoshop for Fashion, Photoshop and Illustrator for Print, Animation for Print, Digital Design fundamentals for first year students and Creative Multimedia for digital design students.
His qualifications include a 2.1 in Interactive Media and Design from the University of Limerick, A 2.1 HDip in Post Primary Education and a 1.1 for Fine Art Painting from the Limerick School of Art and Design.
In his final year of college I won the Revenue Commissioner Award for best Degree show 2001, Cregal Art Award for highest overall studio grade 2001 and the Bewleys Purchase Prize for works on paper 2001.
He continues his own work and training through specialist seminars, periodicals as well as distance based learning.
He has been lecturing at the Limerick School of Art and Design and post primary level and since 2001.
