In 2006/2007 the LIT Kite-boarding Club was formed. It has just completed a very fruitful and successful third year and it is hoped that this Club will go from strength to strength.

 

LIT has once more added some new Sports throughout 2007/2008. We have a very well organised and talented Ladies Hockey team who are hopeful of competing in third level competition from 2008/2009. We also have a small, but enthusiastic group of Cricketers who will hopefully participate at a competitive level in 2008/2009. This group is also hopeful of participating at a competitive level in 2008/2009. Alan Donnellan became the first person to win a competitive third level boxing tournament for LIT winning in Galway in February 2008.

 

From a Health and Wellbeing Perspective LIT Sports also runs Yoga, Aerobics and various other keep fit classes on a regular, ongoing basis.
