Students Union / Societies / Sports
The Students’ Union represent the student body on the Governing Body
and Academic Council. The Students’ Union and the Sports Council
encourage learners to become involved in the sporting and cultural aspects
of college life. Clubs, societies and committees give you the opportunity
to meet other learners outside the classroom, those who may be taking a
different programme than you. With the variety of societies and sports to
choose from, there’s something for everyone.
The involvement of the learners in sporting and cultural fields is seen as an important part of Institute life and the learners own personal development.
The Student Union has its own building at the Moylish Park campus with games room, relaxation lounge and Wired FM: LIT’s very own radio station. This building also houses Java City a speciality coffee shop.
