Fee Payment Deadlines – Midwest

IMPORTANT: Please note, that these payment deadlines only apply to Undergraduate and Postgraduate students on Full time programmes.

DATES TO REMEMBER
SeptemberAll Materials/Health & Safety Fees must be paid in full upon registration.  These fees are not covered by SUSI.
OctoberThe First Instalment payment is due by 31 October.Students who have not paid at least 50% of their fees by 31 October 2023 will incur a late payment fee of €50 for non-payment of fees, unless they set up an agreed, signed Instalment plan with the Grants & Fees Office.IMPORTANT: Full-time undergraduate students who have applied for a Grant and have not received notification of eligibility for their grant from the awarding body by 31 October 2023 must either pay 50% of the fee owing or set up an agreed, signed instalment plan.  Any surplus monies paid will be refunded to the student’s bank account once their full grant is received. 
JanuaryThe Second Instalment payment is due by 15 January.Students who have not paid the second instalment by 15 January 2024 will have their IT access removed, unless they are on an agreed, signed instalment plan with the Grants & Fees Office.IMPORTANT: Full-time undergraduate students who have not registered by 31 January are not entitled to claim free fees and must pay the tuition charge normally covered by the Free Fees Scheme. 
FebruaryThis is the first instalment deadline for programmes with a January start date. Students who have not paid at least 50% of their fees by the 28 February 2024 will incur a late payment fee of €50 for non-payment of fees. 
MayThis is the second instalment deadline for programmes with a January start date. Non-payment of the second instalment by the 31 May 2024 will cause students to have their IT access removed.If a student owes fees at the end of an academic year, there will be a hold placed on their account.
